Training for the best interns-traumatologists at NMU named after Bogomolets: a new step towards professionalism

Last weekend at Kyiv National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets became special for more than 70 young specialists.

The university conducted training for the best interns-traumatologists with a large practical part on the materials of the company Bauer’s Synthes, the leading manufacturer of traumatological materials in Ukraine.

This event became an important step in the professional growth of future doctors and raising the level of medical care in Ukraine in the future.

Training program The training took place in several stages, each of which was full of theoretical and practical classes. The interns had the opportunity to work with various types of equipment,

including Bauer’s Synthes orthopedic systems, drills and implants, and practiced tibial osteosynthesis. Practical classes included simulations of some types of injuries and their treatment,

which allowed participants to practice the necessary skills in conditions as close as possible to real ones.
